The mission of the South Bay Coalition to End Human Trafficking is to establish effective coordinated partnerships to safeguard victims, prosecute offenders, and prevent human trafficking and slavery. They offer comprehensive services to trafficking victims, raise awareness through community education and outreach, and provide professional training to service providers.
Rising Worldwide is creating a global community where underrepresented people have the opportunity to improve their own lives and the lives of others through social entrepreneurship. Our collective success is guided by economic equity, inclusiveness, and belief in the power of survivor leadership.
3Strands Global Foundation began after a disturbing incident in a close-knit California community. A young girl was trafficked for 8 days before being rescued by law enforcement. This led to the development of PROTECT prevention education, which has since educated countless students on preventing human trafficking.
Realizing the need for resources for survivors and those facing economic challenges, the 3SGF team initiated the Employ + Empower program. This initiative has successfully provided support and economic empowerment to numerous individuals.
Women Enabled Enterprises strives to help low income women of color artisans in African countries grow their craft business for self-sufficiency through a virtual, mobile-phone based, retail entrepreneurship skills building program, access to international markets through our USA online marketplace (ShopConsciously), micro-funding from VC impact partner investors and ongoing alumni support.
